Important Social Media Tips For FB Engagement On Your Biz Page.

1. Your BANNER is "prime real estate." Don't think of it as free. It is a prime selling tool, and it can make or break sales and engagement, so treat it seriously!! It should be clear, UNCLUTTERED and INSTANTLY convey what you are selling. A good smiling photo of you is key, and make sure your text is clear! Show your Beautycounter URL in the banner. People don't know what you do, your banner needs to show potential customers EXACTLY what you sell. You can start with the banners that Beautycounter provides, but custom banners will benefit you more. Change your banner every month and include any special offers, seasonal, etc.
2. PINNED POST AND BOOSTED POST ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND! Your first post is also "prime real estate." Always PIN a post to the top of your page that has already received HIGH ENGAGEMENT (likes, comments, shares) and make sure your website is in the STATUS of your pinned post. A PINNED POST SHOULD ALWAYS BE ABOUT SOMETHING YOU ARE SELLING. Don't say "click here." Instead use action words that specifically direct them to do what you want. Examples: START NOW, HERE'S WHY, SHOP NOW, LEARN MORE. Keep it as relevant as you can. Change your pinned post every week. THIS WILL DRIVE 90% of your sales!!! BOOST THIS POST TO DRIVE SALES!! Don't spend more than $5-$10/day each week. When you boost the page target PEOPLE WHO ALREADY LIKE YOUR PAGE. THAT'S YOUR BEST AUDIENCE FOR SALES. Boost for 5 days.
(NOTE: pinned posts will typically show LESS people reached but more engagement. This is because people are clicking through to your website rather than liking, and commenting. This is a good thing! Leads to sales!!
3. FB is about BENEFITS. Your blog or website is about FEATURES. Do not post before and after shots on your FB page, that's a feature and goes in your blog or website. FB is not the place to show pimples! Show beautiful skin, lips, hair, and write with BENEFITS in mind. Example "GET SMOOTH LIPS BY TONIGHT" "WANT TO WAKE UP LOOKING AND FEELING 10 YEARS YOUNGER?" What will they get? What problem does your product solve? Show solutions, benefits! Beauty! And remember, you post about the product once in about 10 posts. Your other 9 posts create the culture of your page. INSPIRE! ENGAGE! SHARE! EDUCATE! BE YOU! ALWAYS TALK BACK!!! People need to connect with YOU. You are not your product.
4. ADVERTISE FOR PAGE LIKES. Target specific demographics NOT PEOPLE WHO ALREADY LIKE YOUR PAGE. (That would be redundant!) Target 1-2 million people if you are spending under $5 to $10 a day. Get creative! Target Shark Tank! Zig Ziegler! Magazines! - draw people with LIFESTYLE not product and you will get more sales. Do not use other advertising options until you have more than 5000 LIKES. That's when your business will really take off! Use photos of LIFESTYLES not your product! For example:
1. People love photos of families, or humerous, or beauty . . . 
2. Create a jpep using Inspirational words like "MAKE THINGS HAPPEN." For the TEXT write something like "Daily inspiration for a better life. Join us." FOR THE HEADLINE write something like "You Can Live Powerfully"

NOTE: SANDI KRAKOWSKI recommends naming your business page just as your name because if you build your audience significantly to say 30,000+ followers, and then you change direction in your life and business you can still sell anything. FB lets you change your page name once. I started with my name and then changed it to include Beautycounter, so I can't change it back to just my name. Think hard about this decision! AND HAVE FUN!!!!!

Create urgency and excitement ie: raffle for "host" rewards, timeline to get orders in, etc. Be sure to post ALL company/product links from YOUR personal BC site.
